THE NAME ABOVE EVERY NAME
(First part)
Memory verse (Phil 2: 9-11) “ Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father ”.
Everything living or non-living has a name. Stones, plants, animals, diseases and sicknesses, problems etc all have names. If you have a problem in your life it has a name. If you have a sickness in your life, it has a name. If you have any property you possess in your life, it has a name. You have a name. All human being we know them by their names.
Names help us to identify people or distinguish people. There’re names given to us by our parent, all parents give their children names. There are names we earn by our achievements or things we do. There are people who are called drunkards, because they drink, murderers because they are killers etc. these are names that are earned. THESE CAN BE GOOD OR BAD. Those who do good things earn good name. When you hear somebody talk about Billy Graham, you simply see a man who touched his generation by the gospel of Christ, but when you talk about Judas Iscariot, everybody know what kind of image he/she gets about him.
God also gives names, He gave Abram a name of Abraham, He named Sarai Sarah, He named Jacob Israel, Jesus named Simon Peter etc. But when God came to His Son Jesus because of what he did (Phil2: 5-11), He gave him a name that is above every name. As I said, what you do give you a name. Your positions give you a name. What Jesus did no one has ever and will ever do. God exalted Jesus above everything living or non living, in heaven on earth and under the earth, because JESUS humbled himself like none has ever do. He was God and he chose to become man, when he was in the midst of men, he became a servant not a master, He loved us to the point of dying for us, when it came to dying he chose to die the shameful death on the cross. None has ever done this; Therefore God exalted him to sit at his right hand, made him Lord of Lords, he has given him a name that is above every name, God has put everything under his feet, every knee bows at the name of Jesus, God has given him all authority in heaven and in the earth.

(Second part)
Memory verse (Acts4:12) : “ Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved ”
God has given the name of Jesus to the believers. Am not trying to mean that every believer is called Jesus. But God has given us the authority to use this name to obtain salvation. God has given the church a divine mandate of reaching the world with the Gospel, but we don’t go in our own names but in the name of Jesus.
In the world when you are employed in an organization, private or government, you receive an identification card as their employee. On that card there is the name of the organization, your photograph, your name, the signature of the head of that organization and yours too. You can transact business on behalf of that organization. That name of the organization can make you meet very important people you could have never met in your name, that name can make you enter places your name could never afford you, that name makes you powerful, that name gives you honor.
Everyone who believes in Jesus and is born again, God has given us this name of Jesus. Jesus is now our master, He is our savoir, He is our God, He is our shepherd, and He sent us to go to the nations to preach the gospel. He is our employer; He gave us the power and authority to use His name to establish his kingdom, to spread the news of His kingdom. This name of Jesus adds greater authority on your life. Hell can try to close doors against, but when you declare I come in the name of Jesus, doors will open to you. That name will make you go place your education would never take you. That name will make demons bow to you. Demons said, Paul we know, Jesus we know, when you carry that name of Jesus, even hell will know you. They will see a greater power and authority of Jesus upon you. God wants you to know that on your kingdom identity there is a name of Jesus above your name. We have put on Christ, that name is written upon our foreheads. You shall make it in life. Stop fearing but do what the Bible teaches, whatever we do in word or deed, do it in the name of Jesus. You have that name everywhere, be conscious of that truth and use it everywhere. All shall be well with you, use it in your home, business, and ministry. Our salvation is in his name and it’s given to us, make use of it.

(Third part)
Memory verse (John14: 12) “ Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father ”.
Dear children of God, I would like to let you know this good news that Jesus is not in the grave, He’s not dead. Jesus rose from the dead according to the scriptures, and He ascended to heaven, and exalted to sit at the right hand of God our father (Acts2: 30-36). The promotion Jesus received after his resurrection put him in a place of greater power, dominion and authority. He promised his disciples that when He goes to his Father and sit on the throne at his right hand, those who believe him would be able to do the works he was doing. He meant that when he is in charge, in authority, then our exploits will know no limits. In fact, he said: you’ll even do greater works than I’ve done. Church, we can rejoice, Jesus is in charge; He is in power, and dominion that is above all dominions. His power is unlimited that’s why those who believe in him can use his name to do miracles wonders and signs to expand his kingdom.
Those who believe and follow him have access to his office. Those who believe in him have access to his power and all divine riches. It’s time your life be full of wonders. The door to his throne room, the Holy of Holies, is wide open by his blood for all blood washed saints to approach Him. Our prayers have free access to him. Stop crying! You don’t need to be confused, you don’t need to watch Satan destroy your home, your children, there’s something you can do. Your Lord is in charge over all affairs in heaven, on earth and under the earth, go to him. All your troubles are under his feet. Don’t allow Satan to crush your hope and destiny, your savoir crushed Satan under his feet and this time round he is going to crush your problems, demonic powers, sicknesses under your…I say under your very feet (Rom16: 20), Hallelujah!!!!!! Can you imagine what your life would be like, if your husband or father or uncle become the president of your country or assumes one of the greatest offices in this world! When he is lifted to such position, you’re lifted too because of your relationship with him. I declare to you that your position from now on, is determined by your relationship With Jesus. When he was exalted, all those who believe in him were lifted with him. You’re seated with him in heavenly places (Eph2: 4-7). Wow, am so excited about who am by my connection to Jesus. Bless God forever more!

(Fourth part)
Memory verse (John16: 23-24) “ And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full ”.
We have a great inheritance because of the finished work of Jesus on the cross and his resurrection. When Jesus rose from the dead, God made him the heir of all things and made us to be co-heirs with him. (Rom8: 16-17). Just as we saw in yesterday’s teaching, a breakthrough of one of your relatives makes a big impact on your life and status. Jesus Christ, our savoir, and the one we believe and follow. The one we worship and praise. We are now by his redemptive work his brothers. When he conquered sin, death, the world, and the grave, and God our Father exalted him, not only that but gave him all things, this changed everything in the life of everyone who believed and would believe in him. That’s why the scripture teaches that if any man be in Christ, behold he is a new creation, old thing are passed away and all thing are become new (2cor5: 17).
The statement about you in heaven as a believer is very different now. Your brother Jesus is the one seated at God’s right hand. He told the disciples: until now you have not asked anything in my name. But in that day… Which day? The day when he shall sit at God’s right hand in power and glory. When he would be in charge of all things, when he would have been made and declared the heir of all things, he told them: in that day whatever you ask my Father in my name, he will give it to you that your joy may be full. Everyone with the name of Jesus upon his face, everyone who believes in the name of Jesus, anyone born again, have a free access to the Father in heaven. And we approach our heavenly Father not in our name but in Jesus name. The Father gives us attention to listen to what our needs and requests are. You don’t need to fear, Jesus has cleared everything by his blood. It’s time to ask. Ask and it shall be given in Jesus. Because of Jesus, whatever you need is already provided by His sacrifice. God is wondering why you’re crying yet everything is available already and paid for only waiting for you to go and possess. Whether it’s healing, joy, peace, anointing, finances, children, prosperity, increase, a job, a husband or wife, all are yours. So, begin to ask, your situation will change.

(Fifth part)
Memory verse (Acts2: 21) “ and it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved ”.
The name of Jesus has power to save you from death physical or spiritual. The name of Jesus has power to save you from disease, from sicknesses, from poverty, from oppression, from confusion, from debt, from satanic attacks, from accidents, from bondages of Satan, from barrenness, from any trouble in your life.
Blind Bartimeaus heard that Jesus was passing by the place where he was seated, when he knew it was Jesus, he called upon his name: Jesus son of David have mercy on me. And Jesus saved him from blindness and he began to see.
I had a testimony of a believer who was in a car that got involved in an accident, he cried out, Jesus!!! And their life was saved. I heard another testimony of a non-believer who opened the Bible and he read this verse (Acts2: 21). After reading it, he thought for a moment to understand what it says, and then he opened his mouth and called out, Jesus!!! And his heart was changed. Perhaps you have a medical report about your sickness that says you have a few days or months to die, my brother or sister you don’t have die because of that report. There is Jesus Christ who is the Lord of Lords. All things including your sickness were put under his feet. Call upon his name. You’ll be saved from that killer-disease. There’s a young man is this country who committed murder and was brought to the court of law with his friends with whom they did this killing. His mother and father are born again and are ministers in the church. The mother decided to do prayer and fasting, she went before God and cried out to God for her son’s life. The rest of his friends were condemned to death and they were hanged, when they came to this son of hers, he received the penalty of life imprisonment. Her son received Christ in the prison and he was so changed and after serving nine years, three weeks ago he was released. He is free now. The check is blank for you to make your request. Jesus is seated on the throne waiting to hear your call. Don’t call wrong people who can’t save you out of your trouble, make your call to Jesus he will save you. The door is open to all people with all troubles. It’s whoever! It might be you. Come to him by faith and call upon him. (Heb10: 19-22).

(Sixth part)
Memory verse (Mark16: 15-18) “ Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover ”
Jesus said to his disciples, As the Father sent me so I send you (Jn17: 18). So we’re CHRIST’S representatives here on earth. We are here to fulfill the mission he started. He has given us a work to do for him i.e. to make known to the whole earth the news about the work he accomplished through his death and resurrection. He has given us the assignment of demonstrating to the world that Jesus IS NOT DEAD BUT ALIVE. He has given us a mission of impacting this world by the power of the kingdom of heaven and to establish God’s kingdom on the earth and to bring in people into his kingdom from the kingdom of darkness. We are his ambassadors! (2Cor5: 20).
This heavenly call and commission has come to us with greater authority. We have the authority of the one who sends us. And we carry out this duty in his name. We enter impenetrable nations and cities and cast down principalities and powers. We lay hands upon the sick and we rebuke sicknesses and people are healed. We crush Satan’s rule and dominion under our feet in Jesus name, we break Satan’s strongholds and release people to go free in Jesus name. We take those Satan had defiled and in Jesus name we make them Disciples of Christ. We are victorious in Jesus name. Victory is yours in Jesus name. Devils won’t stop your ministry in JESUS name. The church Jesus appointed you to pioneer will flourish in that land. Let no devil lie to you that it won’t work, the authority you’re carrying with you is the authority of the one who sent you. Your ministry will never lack finances, breakthroughs, protection and interventions from God. The authority of Christ upon your life will shake cities, nations, and communities. Everlasting closed doors will open for you. Chains and prison gates will be destroyed before your eyes. Sign and wonders will follow your life and Ministry. Go in the name of Jesus and make exploits for God. Amen!!!
