Crossing the fire

Crossing the fire

Life can be sometimes hard to the point of feeling as if we were passing through the fire. By “fire” I mean negative circumstances, misunderstanding in the family or friends, an uncomfortable social or political atmosphere and sometimes terrifying.

It could be that you read this message being in a position of comfort where everything is going well for you, but I am particularly speaking to those who are currently going through a very difficult time at the point of doubting of God's love.

Let’s analyze the scripture in Isaiah 43: 2 " When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you ". Why Israel can hope to pass through fire and not burn? The answer lies in the next verse (Isaiah 43: 3), where He says, "For I am the Lord your God". The fact that the Lord is my God does not seem convincing but in the fifth verse (Isaiah 43: 5) He says: "FEAR NOT FOR I AM WITH YOU".

Faith and trust in God is the only way to cross the fire. I do not know what you are going through right now, but it is important that you understand that fear will only depress you more because fear is the manifestation of the lack of confidence while God seeks your trust in order to act. When you are in a dangerous or very difficult situation, and you want God to intervene for you, you need to trace a path for the glory of God to be manifested. The path you have to prepare is called: "Trusting the Lord".

Trust is very strong because it does not require proof or evidence. Trust says: "I do not understand how I'm going to go out but I know that you are with me and if you are with me and that you love me, I can count on you".

If you say these words in prayer during difficult times, I can tell you without a doubt that God will make you cross the fire. He can get you out or protects you while crossing it.
