(Fifth part)
Memory verse (Psalm29: 7): " The voice of the Lord divides the flames of fire ".
There are all kinds of fires the devil sets up to devour you but the Lord our God is mighty to neutralize them all. Nebuchadnezzar threw Shadrach; Meshach and Abednego into a burning furnace but the Lord landed into that fire in time and made it fireless fire. He rendered the fire fireless. Our God promised that even when we walk through fire, he would be with us and he won’t let the fire to burn us. Remember our God is a consuming fire. The Lord is with you my brother, my sister. The consuming fire is with you. There is another divine fire of God’s presence around you that will cause you never to feel the hell’s sent fires.
Paul taught and said that we should not be anxious of any thing but we should make all our troubles, needs, fires, hardship, fiery trials known to God in prayer, supplications and thanksgiving, then the peace of God will guard our hearts and minds in Christ (Phil4: 6). As long as you are in Christ and get rooted in him, Satan sent fires will not harm you. Jesus faced and experienced so many negative things in this earth, rejection, persecution, false accusations, strivings of the religious men of his day, oppositions etc but he was never shaken. He was always peaceful, calm, stable and focused. He said often, his heavenly Father was always with him. Scripture says: if God be for us who can be against us? (Rom8:31). Take heart my brother and sister, the fire you are going through in your marriage, business, family, ministry, will not consume you. The persecution, trials, temptations, oppositions, wars and all satanic attacks can’t destroy you. The Lord is with you and he will scatter the flames of fire sent to destroy you. The lord will scatter and quench the flaming arrows of the serpent and you will live and not die (Ps118: 17).
The disease that is burning you up in your body shall not kill you, the Lord will scatter the fiery arrow of death and you will live. That fire you're going through with the Lord will not harm you. You will go through. I just want to comfort you, encourage you, and strengthen you by the Holy Spirit through God’s word. Don’t fear, stop panicking, take heart, your God is watching over you and he does not slumber nor sleep.
