Why helping the poor?
Verse of the Day: Proverbs 19: 17 " Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done "
The poor are everywhere, even in the richest countries. Jesus himself said that there will always be poor people on earth. When I was a teenager, I was angry against billionaires of the world because I did not understand why the newspapers entertained us with impressive figures of the top ten billionaires on earth. Later I realized that God will always let poor people on earth to test the hearts of his people. The poor are those who are unable to eat once a day by themselves. The poor are widows and orphans (without inheritance), the homeless and those who are unable to survive without help.
I draw your attention to the verse of the day (Proverbs 19: 17) that says that whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord and He will reward them for what they have done. The verse is showing us that God is hidden in the poor so that if you give something to the poor, you give it to God. One who assists the poor honors His creator (God) and one that underestimates and ignores the poor, underestimates and ignores His creator.
If you are in business or if you work in a company or in a public service, it is important that you know that from your salary or from your profit, God expects you to think about the poor. The verse says that if you give something to the poor, you lend to the Lord. You do not waste your money because although the poor will not be able to repay you, God will reward you because the poor are his private property.
If you understood the message and no poor of the planet benefits something from your income, it's time to take action
Have a great day
