The best investment
If you read this message, it means that you were born one day. The bible says that there's a time to be born and a time to die (Ecclesiastes 3: 2).
I noticed that most of men and women live as if they were unaware of the real reason for coming to earth. In all countries of the world, men and women work hard to secure their future and the future of their children but the bible tells us that we are a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away (James 4: 14). Even those who can live for a hundred years are considered as a vapor. Why a vapor? Because a hundred years are insignificant compare to billions and billions of years (eternity) after death. Many people provide much effort to invest on earth but neglect to invest in the kingdom of God.
This message is to remind you that we all have a day when we will leave this earth and we will all be accountable before the throne of God. Even the born-again Christians will be judged as the bible says that judgment begins at the house of God (1 Peter 4: 17). Everything we do here on earth good or bad is recorded somewhere.
The bible asks us to redeem the time, because the days are evil (Ephesians 5: 16). Why redeeming the time? Because we wasted a lot of time in unproductive things for the kingdom of God. Since I realized that my days on this earth are numbered and especially that there is a specific day when I will leave this earth, I do not want to lose a day without investing in the kingdom of God. It is good to work and spend time with the family and friends but the kingdom of God must be the priority of every child of God. Before sleeping at night, you should review the day and make sure that you have invested something in the kingdom of God by manifesting His love.
If you have not repented yet by accepting Jesus as your Savior, everything you have ever done in your life is limited on this earth. Therefore, it's time to start valuing your life.
