Verse of the day: Psalms 50:23 “He who brings an offering of praise and thanksgiving honors and glorifies Me; and he who orders his way aright [who prepares the way that I may show him], to him I will demonstrate the salvation of God”

Chris comment: This verse is well explained in English version when it says that if we bring an offering of praise and thanksgiving we prepare the way that He may show me the salvation.

It’s easy to give thanks when we succeed or when we receive something very important but it requires a sacrifice to give thanks when everything goes wrong and all conditions are against us. If we can give thanks instead of complaining, the verse tells us that we would glorify God and believe me, it’s a divine invitation for our deliverance.

Commentaire de Chris: Ce verset est mieux expliqué dans la traduction anglaise où on dit que si on donne à Dieu un sacrifice de louange à Dieu, on prépare une voie pour qu’Il nous délivre.

Il est facile de rendre grâces quand on a réussi ou quand on reçoit quelque chose de grande importance mais ça demande un sacrifice pour rendre grâce quand rien ne marche et que toutes les conditions sont contre nous. Si malgré tout on parvient à rendre grâces au lieu de se lamenter, le verset nous dit qu’on glorifie Dieu et croyez moi, il s’agit d’une invitation divine pour notre délivrance.
