(Sixth part)
Memory verse (Dan6: 22): " My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you ”
There are natural lions and spiritual lions we encounter as we walk this journey of faith. David encountered lions and he killed them. They attacked the flock, he fought them and they fought him but they could not eat him, he was anointed by the Lord. Samson was on his mission to the philistine and encountered a lion charged against him but could not eat him, because he was a nazarite unto God.
God has called you, chosen you and anointed you, lions will not kill you but you will destroy them. We are anointed to kill lions. The king of Babylon threw Daniel in the den of lions to be eaten, but Daniel was the first and perhaps the last man to ever be thrown into the den of lions and he came out alive. The lions attacked Samson and David, but with Daniel no lion even moved to fight him, he did not fight, the Angel of God came and shut up their mouths.
God is going to shut the mouth of lions surrounding you. Some of you dear ones, you are surrounded by lions in your place of work, in ministry, some of your husbands are true lions, but walk with an upright heart and blamelessly in the midst of those lions and the Lord will shut up their mouths.
You won’t be swallowed up. You will live. You won’t be crushed; your bones will be preserved. Even if the devil is roaming around like a lion seeking for who to devour, stand in faith and resist him and he’ll flee. You’re protected, you are preserved, and the Angels of the Lord encompass you. The fire of God surrounds you. Your home is under divine protection. Your business, children, ministry and flock are all protected. Don’t fear those lions you are seated among, there are dumb lions. God has shut their mouth. They try to scare you with their looks, but their mouths are shut. And even if they try to mess with your life, you are anointed to kill lions, you will tear them apart.
You will prosper in the midst of your enemies, i.e. lions because God has prepared a table in the midst of your enemies. Stop walking in fear, walk in faith. Have faith in God and his word. Victory is yours in Jesus name.
